The use of terminology management tools and processes enables global enterprises and language service providers to re-purpose content and translations of small units of text. Today, no content management or localization management strategy is complete without terminology management. In this report, we explore these tools through: an overview of terminology management tools, a synopsis of their history and development, a review of key principles and features that need to be supported by the tools, a SWOT analysis, and information on types of solutions and sample applications.
